Victoria Gold Shield Sovereign 1845 PCGS MS64+
Victoria Gold Sovereign 1845, KM736.1, S-3852, PCGS MS64+. A seldom-found-choice date with A delicate rose patina drifts about the obverse surfaces with a reddish freckle within Victoria's hair. Rich satin lustre further envelopes the surfaces with little deviation. The reverse shield is a trifle soft in the lower quadrants, but the offense is nearly entirely forgivable given the charm contained elsewhere. Extraordinarily elusive in this fine a state and a wonderful candidate to join a cabinet of seldom-rivalled distinction.
